If the Mayor is tired, perhaps it is time for his retirement.

I bet the TLeader will knock off the comments to this one. They are good for that. So is the News-Register.

water. They have their own ideas and voices and are not afraid to express them.

2.) “Despite the efforts of certain council members trying to tie my hands” - - I most sincerely apologize, that you considered abiding by the US Constitution, The Ohio Revised Code, our Codified Ordinances, and their interpretations provided by our Village Solicitor to be hand tying. We all took an oath to uphold all of the aforementioned. Your last letter to council shows that you have absolutely no respect for anyone or any decision that does not go your way. We must be bound by the laws that are set forth. I, as 1/6 of the village council will not sell out my morals, character, or beliefs to give one person their way.

1.) Why is nothing being accomplished? It is the job of the mayor to carry out the policies and decisions set forth by council. Do not sit at meetings and carry on conversation, and then go out the next day and send letters out to council and the press, in an attempt to undo all that has been decided at the meetings, simply because you don't like or agree with what has been decided. This to me sir, is called counter-productive. The village council is here to help all entities of this village and it's citizenry. Try allowing them to do their job and actually work with them. For all too long, there was a council who just “went along” and all was well in your kingdom, until January of 2012, when you no longer had the hand fed council. Let us also not forget the “events” of last year. Now, I ask, “Why is nothing getting accomplished?” Answer - - Because you simply refuse to respect the will of the voter and work with a council that they elected, because they do not carry your wate

I question if the mayor can still use the toilet on his own anymore.

How about this, you quit using excuses to write a letter just to bash council members. This has nothing to do with patching potholes, just another ploy to dig at Dave and Ben. Trust me, EVERYBODY is the valley is aware that you have been in construction for 100 years, and every time that you feel that you flushed the toilet in a more proper way than the average Joe you have to write a letter to the editor about it. I would love to see the actual letter that you give your secretary to re-write for you. How about you just do the job that you were elected to do and quit slamming your council for having the balls to stand up to you!

Why call your office? Your secretary will give you a smart A$ $ comment. You're the reason why nothing gets accomplished at the meetings. It's either your way or nothing. Go run your laundry mat and step down. I don't think you're at a mentality to make good rational decisions any more. These street in Bridgeport are down right nasty!! Where's all the grant money you said you had to do these streets last year? I see the road to you house is awesome!! The rest of the village is another story. Bottom line, you need to retire from politics.
