Dear?Editor One thousand laid-off Ormet employees are no longer “unemployed.” At least, that is the position our elected leaders in Columbus have take....

Mr. Daniels,

How many states have you lived in? How does property tax rates and levels compare here in Ohio versus New York State, Illinois , Maryland, for exa ple. How does income rates compare in these states?

Who funded construction costs for the many new high schools built in Eastern Ohio over the past 8 years? What percent is funded from the state to poorer districts for operating costs?

You may want to lay aside your political comments and dig down into the facts compared to other states...........

Again, challenge your leadership on a national level to promote business, reduce red tape, and let's get this country moving Forward.....

I am listening.......

Mr. Daniels,

Again, you have failed to address the impact thrust upon Eastern Ohio by the Obama Administration with the full support of Mr. Reid, Ms. Pelosi, and your good friend Sherrod Brown. Lay aside politics for once and stand up for your area and speak out loud and clear against the most anti coal group in this country. I continue to listen for your support of Eastern Ohio.

by the way, Mr. Kasich will easily win reelection.

The truth, all of us are concerned. We need to stand together and hold both parties accountable. Too much to address in one letter. Anyone email danielsforohio@gmail**** and I will send you a full response. We have serious problems in Columbus just like in D.C. Largest Budget and spending increase in state history 50.7 - 62 Billion without Obamacare Kasich added it in after the budget, Tax shifting onto the middle class, Special interest handouts in the Billions, By the way that was your money, cutting and shifting school funding to property owners causing 1137 levies, sales tax increase more coming, 12.5% Rollback -Raises property tax across the state by 12.5%, Seniors Homestead exemption cut raising seniors property tax. That is the short list. Every item Andy Thompson voted for and many times co-sponsored those bills. I agree, go ahead and keep voting them in and we keep losing.

Using Mr. Daniel's logic, Acme Buggy Whips would still be in business making an unwanted product (buggy whips) at a cost to the taxpayers of $$$$ (and the shareholders - who would want to invest in an obsolete company) and the union jobs would be preserved. Yea I know there are other circumstances, but if we continue to shore up failing businesses at taxpayers expense, we will get more "failures" - you get what you pay for. That is the problem with our country and society - we want to guarantee nobody fails and regardless of the choices made by individuals or corporations or Unions, we "cannot" let them fail, besides, "It's for the children!"

Mr. Daniels.

we all want Ormet to reopen. In addition, Do you have any comments pertaining to other jobs losses directly related to the Obama Administration, EPA, and Democratic leadership of Mr. Reid, Ms Pelosi, and Mr. Brown? Your passion is commendable for Ormet and I agree but where is your passion and outrage, and voice concerning other industries being destroyed by this Obama Administration.

I am listening!!!!!!!!!!!!Will I hear anything?????
