VAUGHAN, Frances Paszk

VAUGHAN, Frances Paszke, 97, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Elm Grove, W.Va., died Sunday, December 9, 2007, in Crown Pointe Care Center in Columbus.

She was born in Neffs, Ohio, on December 23, 1909, a daughter of the late John and Rose Czarnecki Paszke.

Frances was a homemaker; member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Elm Grove; member of the Catholic Women’s Club; the Elm Grove Women’s Club; and attended Bellaire High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Vaughan; her brothers, Stanley, John and Frank Paszke; and her sister, Laura Plahuta.

Surviving are her sister, Helen Fijalkowski of Colum bus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, with the Rev. James R. LaCrosse, S.M. officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
