Amanda Koler and Stephen Niksic were united in marriage April 19 at 2:30 p.m. at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, National Road, Wheeling, with the Rev. Maggie Sebastian officiating at the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Joseph and Tina Hudson Koler of Wheeling. Grandparents of the bride are Clyde and Marie Hudson of Wheeling and the late Edward and Sadie Koler of Bridgeport. Parents of the groom are Miller Niksic and Geri Murphy of Leechburg, Pa. Grandparents of the groom are the late Miller and Hazel Niksic of Leechburg, Pa. and the late Olga Husak of Pittsburgh.
Natalie Joseph was matron of honor, Carissa Koler, maid of honor and Bob Anchors served as the best man. Bridesmaids were Dawn Serakowski, Becky Kennedy, Linda Murray, Kayla Nickerson and Nicole Kozlowski. Junior bridesmaids wee Alexis Ashbrook and Kylie Royal. Kamdyn Serakowski was flower girl. Groomsmen were Donnie Harris, Dan Serakowski, Steve Lynch, Greg Krause, Tim Ullom and John Soles. Junior groomsmen were Kyle White and Tyler Ashbrook. Evan Koler served as the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2005 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s of science degree in exercise physiology. She is employed with Wellness Coaches USA Preventative Services in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Kiski Area High School and a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He is employed in the nuclear engineering service department of Westinghouse Electric Co. in Monroeville, and is also a Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Following a wedding trip to Dreams Tulum Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Leechburg, Pa.
