Rob Davia fired a complete game four-hitter and Cadiz Legion won for the second time this summer following a 5-2 Wednesday night win over Tuscarawas County at Mazeroski Field.
Davia compiled six strikeouts and no walks for the winners who have a 1 p.m. Saturday doubleheader scheduled at Wellsville.
Davia received offensive support from Kurt Smith who slugged a two-run double and Ryan Davenport who contributed a run-scoring triple. Catcher Kraig Kubancik clubbed a sacrifice fly.
Zach Schweitzer singled and doubled for the invaders. Kyle Widder drilled a double.
