2LT. Mateo Herrera has completed Army Ranger Course at Ft. Benning,GA. 2LT.
Herrera is a graduate from Ringgold High High and a graduate from California University of PA with a bachlors degree in Criminal Justice. He currently serves with PA National Guard A Company 1/112th Infantry 56 Stryker Bgd. Combat Team in Bulter, PA.
He is the son of Dr. Wayne & Catherine Porter of Finleyville, PA and the grandson of Lawrence & Marlene Habig of Shadyside. He will be attending the PA State Police school this fall.
