KENNEDY PARK Retirement Community will be hosting an open house on Aug. 4. This will take place in the dining room from 2-6 p.m. Tours will be given.
An 8-by-8 train layout will also be on display. The layout features beautiful scenery with a large mountain, trestles and tunnels and scenes depicting the days when trains were part of the Ohio Valley. This display is sponsored by T&K Hobby and Bridgeport Equipment.
Refreshments will be served. There will also be door prizes and giveaways.
COFFEE TALK will be hold on the third Thursday of every month.
The public is welcome to attend and have their blood pressures read. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a donut in a relaxed atmosphere with your friends.
A nurse from Foster Bridge, a provider in personal care and homemaker services, will be doing the blood pressure readings. This event, which is held monthly, will be held in the dining room and parking is available at the door.
