THE WOMEN'S Club of Bridgeport held its annual awards presentation on April 14, at the Bridgeport School Cafetorium for the fifth grade poster contest, sixth grade short-story and poetry and seventh grade essay contest. The poster theme was Friendship and the writing activity themes were Bullying.
The following students won the poster contest: First place - Daje Massey; Second place - Morgan Eddy; Third place - Hannah Patroski (tie) and Alex Russell (tie).
The winners of the short story contest were: First place - Emily Weires; Second place - Lexie Willoughby and Third place - Chelsea Burch.
