YANAK, Charles Douglas (Doug), 63, of Reynoldsburg, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 29, 2011.
He was born in Wheeling, W.Va., September 9, 1947, was a graduate of St. John Central High School, Bellaire, Ohio, class of 1965, and he was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He received his first Bachelors Degree in political science from Kent State University; then received Bachelor Degrees in accounting and real estate and a Masters in Business Administration from Franklin University. He was employed as revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service and was a member of Church of the Resurrection. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Joseph Yanak.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 39 years Jeanette; adoring daughter, Heather Nicole Yanak; proud son, Kyle Douglas Yanak; mother, Lillian Yanak; brother, Craig (Twila) Yanak; sister, Kim (Roland) Woollard; as well as dear extended family and many beloved nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg with a Prayer Vigil at 7 p.m. and Eulogy immediately following.
His funeral Mass will be at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 East Dublin- Granville Road, New Albany on Thursday at 11 a.m. with refreshments immediately following at the residence.
