Debra Leonard of Bridgeport and William Castilow of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Elaine Marie Castilow to Jeffrey Curtis Hamarstrom, son of Jeffrey and Shirley Hamarstrom of Burlington, IA.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Bridgeport High School and a 2004 graduate of Miami University with a bachelor of arts degree in microbiology. She received PhD in immunology from the University of Iowa in 2008. She is employed as a medical writer at Tricore Interactive in Princeton, NJ.
Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Burlington High School in Burlington, IA. He also obtained a bachelor of science degree in geoscience from the University of Iowa in 2003. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in landscape architecture.
