Brown: 60th wedding anniversary

FLUSHING - Paul and Carolyn Brown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, Jan. 29, 2011. They were united in marriage in Morristown, Ohio on Jan. 29, 1951 by the Rev. James Willyard.

Brown is the son of the late Charles and Amanda (Bigley) Brown. He retired from the CSX Railroad in 1993. His wife, Carolyn, is the daughter of the late Benjamin and Myurrel (McPheters) Harrison. Paul and Carolyn are members of the Flushing Alliance Church.

They are the parents of two children: Ed (Bonnie) of Flushing; and Diana (Bill) Patterson of Lafferty; five grandchildren: Ben, Steve and Ashley Brown and Jeff (Shelley) and Tracy Patterson; and three great-grandchildren: Brandon, Gracie and Tyler Patterson.
