James Robert "Jim" Doty and Andrea Louise Selke announce their engagement.
The groom-to-be is the son of the late Vernon D. "Jim" Doty and Carole J. Doty Archer of Martins Ferry. He is a graduate of Martins Ferry High School, Belmont Technical College with a degree in business, and Ohio University with degrees in secondary education, history, and political science and is employed as a teacher in Orangeburg, S. C.
His fiancee is the daughter of Todd and Shari Selke of Irmo, S. C. She is a graduate of Dutch Fork High School, and Midlands Technical College with a degree in psychology and is a human resources specialist at Shenandoah Restoration in Irmo, S. C.
