By ROBERT A. DEFRANK, Times Leader Staff Writer

CADIZ The Kountry Kettle has opened its doors Feb. 7 at the former Eagle's Nest.

Bill and Susan Haun, owners, said the restaurant had been operating at 101 W. Main St. rear, in Jewett since 2006. Susan said the owner of the Eagle's Nest was considering closing its doors and contacted them for the possibility of expanding. The Hauns noted the centralized location has made for good business.

"We have a lot of customers from Cadiz. This makes it more convenient for them," she said.

In addition, they are now accepting credit cards.
