DENNY AND Sheryl Sonk of Flushing announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen R. Sonk, to Charles W. Fischerkeller, son of Charles and Patricia Fischerkeller of St. Clairsville.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Union Local High School and a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of education in early childhood education. She is employed as a substitute teacher in the Bridgeport and Union Local School Districts and is employed at Lowe's in St. Clairsville.
Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Magnolia High School and a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a major in finance. He is employed at Wheeling Island Casino as a table games dealer.
