Favorite memory in your sport and why? Sweeping Linsly in our two-game series.

Favorite hobby or off-day activity? Hanging out with my girlfriend Taylor and friends.

What sport do you admire that you don't play and why? Wrestling because it requires great techniques and strength.

Who is your most influential person(s) and why? My dad because he is always there supporting me.

What do you like about your sport? It's very competitive and I love the atmosphere.

Who would you like to spend a day with and why? My grandma who passed away. Just to spend time with her one last time.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Having a steady job, starting a family and hopefully, coaching the sport I love.

CREDENTIALS: Matt came up big in the Tigers' nine-inning victory in the sectional final against River. He had three hits, including a stand-up triple in the ninth and scored the game-winning run. He also made a circus catch in shallow leftfield from his shortstop position.
