WHITE, Clark “Jr.”

WHITE, Clark "Jr.", age 65, of Moundsville, W.Va., died Monday, June 13, 2011 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

He was born November 13, 1945 in Shadyside, Ohio, the son of the late Clark Chester White, Sr. and Esther Blanch Anderson White.

He was a US Army Veteran of 33 years, was known to his comrades as "Boom Boom", and served in both Vietnam and Bosnia; was an employee of Frontier Industrial Corp. of Buffalo, NY; a member of Bates Lodge 3 AF&AM, Wheeling,: El Tor Grotto, Wheeling; and Earl Francis Post 3 American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sally Kay Gary White; a brother, Russell White; and a sister, Patricia Piper.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Penny Grodhaus White; two daughters, Paige White at home, and PJ (Mike) Ondeck of St. Clairsville, Ohio; two sons, Travis White of Moundsville, and Timothy Miller of Bellaire; a step-daughter, Natasha Gordon of Arkansas; two brothers, Tom White of Moundville, and Roy White of Fla.; five sisters, Lil (Ed) Weekly, Barb Frye, Margaret Johnson, and Janice Hendershot all of Bellaire, Ohio, and Grace (Carl) Gilpin of Moundsville; five grandchildren, Dakota, Devon, and Dallas DeLong, and Winter and Braylin White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Monday from 3-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11a.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville with Mike Eskridge officiating.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling where the Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct graveside services.
