BILL AND Lisa Johnson of Shadyside announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Nicole to John Jacob Scherich, son of John and Charlene Scherich of West Finley.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College, with an associate of science degree in early child care and education. She received a diploma in practical nursing from B.M. Spurr School of Practical Nursing in 2009 and is a 2011 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College, with an associate of applied science degree in nursing.
Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of McGuffy High School. He is employed at Consol Energy Inc.
