Kathleen Renee Sonk and Charles William Fischerkeller III were united in marriage on July 30 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lansing United Methodist Church with Rev. Julianne Gebbie officiating. The bride was escorted by her father, Denny Sonk.
Parents of the bride are Denny and Sheryl Sonk of Flushing. Parents of the groom are Charles and Patricia Fischerkeller, Jr., of St. Clairsville.
Jodi Sonk King served as the matron of honor. Jeff Germann served as the best man. Other attendants included Abigail Foldi, Heidi Williams, Meagan Porter, Ryan Sonk, John Kleist III and Preston Hughes. Abigail O'Connor served as the flower girl and Bradley King served as ring bearer. Alicyn Murad and Morgan Ivol served as guest book attendants.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Union Local High School and a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of education degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a substitute teacher in the Bridgeport Exempted Village School District and Union Local School District. She is also employed at Lowe's in St.Clairsville.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Magnolia High School and a graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a major in finance. He is employed at Wheeling Island Casino as a table games dealer.
Following a Caribbean cruise, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
