Dear Editor,
I was very privileged to once again participate in the Easter Seals Telethon earlier this year.
Many of my dear friends gave generously in this regard, and in prior years also, to help children. There is no higher calling than helping the children who are in need. Heartfelt thanks go out to all the generous donors who joined me in this effort.
I would especially like to acknowledge: Dr. and Mrs. Raymond Bannon (thank Ray & Christa for the most generous gift; and congrats on your recent blessed event!); Dr. and Mrs. James Durig; Dr. and Mrs. John Heiby; Judge and Mrs. Charles Knapp; Judge and Mrs. John Malik; Judge and Mrs. D. William Davis; Fregiato, Myser & Davies, Attorneys at Law; Attorney and Mrs. John O. Costine; Attorney Marlin Harper; Attorney and Mrs. Richard Lancione; Attorney and Mrs. Michael McCormick; Attorney Ed Sustersic; Mrs. Lodge Hanlon; Mr. John Marshall; Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Conway; Mrs. Muriel Lim; Mr. and Mrs. Ron Remp; Mr. and Mrs. Tillio Petrozzi; Attorney Helen Yonak; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Yocum; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Davis; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Olszowy; Dr. and Mrs. Cross; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whiteside of Whiteside Chevrolet; Attorney and Mrs. Keith A. Sommer; Mrs. Pauline H. Henry; Mrs. Elaine Yoblinski; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Gertscher; Attorney Gary W. Smith; Mr. and Mrs. James D. Cook; Mr. and Mrs. James Stultz and Mrs. Alan Banker.
I can't think of anything we do that gives me great satisfaction than helping the Easter Seals children!
We must all continue the effort to help them, for, as Winston Churchill so eloquently said, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts." The children display such courage every day, and we should do also in their behalf!
With warmest thanks.
