Crow: 50th wedding anniversary

Gerald and Donna Crow celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2. They were united in marriage on Sept. 2, 1961, at the Rayland Methodist Church with the Rev. William O'Dell performing the ceremony.

Donna is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Manila Scheehle, who had resided in Rayland and Mount Pleasant. She is retired from McGraw Nursing Home.

Gerald is the son of the late Charles G. Crow, formerly of Bellaire, and the late Catherine S. Fish Robertson, who had resided in the Smithfield Unionport area. He is a retired coal miner from McElroy Coal.

They are the proud parents of four children: Beth Ann (George) Worwa of Mount Pleasant, Jerry Lee Crow of St. Clairsville, Michael (Lynn) Crow of Sherrodsville and Christine (Jay) Plewniak of St. Clairsville.

They are the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

They celebrated in June with a cruise to Alaska. They will also have an open house at Warren Township Memorial Park on Sept. 17 with family and friends.
