DOVER - The COAD Area I Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Volunteers recently celebrated their annual volunteer recognition at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.
All of the volunteers, program staff, site station representatives and elected officials available came to show their support of COAD's two beneficial programs.
A luncheon was served by Chef John of the Senior Center and handed out the volunteers' Years of Service awards upon reaching their first yer, along with the fifth, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th year awards.
THE?ST. CLAIRSVILLE Senior Center recently have the pleasure of seven of its members, all in their 90’s, together at the center for its monthly birthday celebration. Along with COAD's program awards, there were presentations from Congressman Bill Johnson's office for its dedication to community service.
The Area I Foster Grandparents served 72,807 hours at our site stations mentoring children assigned by the teaching staff of their assigned site.

The COAD Senior Programs Division is federally funded by the Corporation for National and Community Services with supplemental funding from the Ohio Department of Aging. The senior programs are sponsored locally by COAD Inc.
Area I Senior Programs help serve Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson and Tuscarawas Counties.
