Gereg, McClintock

Colleen Elizabeth Gereg and Larry Lee McClintock were united in marriage on Jan. 12, 2011, in Fayetteville, N.C. A formal outdoor wedding ceremony and reaffirmation of vows was held Saturday, Oct. 29, at Grand Vue Park, Moundsville, with Pastor Wayne Ickes officiating at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Allan and Linda Gereg of St. Clairsville. Grandparents are the late Steve and Josephine Gereg, formerly of St. Clairsville, and the late Karl Kafton, formerly of Cameron. Grandmother Lela Kafton resides in the St. Clairsville area.

The groom is the son of Larry and Alicia McClintock of Glendale. Grandmother is Esther Fox of Moundsville and the late Bill Baker, formerly of Moundsville, and Leroy and Arlene McClintock of Satsuma, Fla.

Jerri Nicot, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Jordan Wallace served as best man. Other attendants included Leyna Conway, Brandi Crosby, Ashley Gereg, Haley Holstein, Daphni Shrieve, Ciera Drake, Arianna and Leah Baker, Ashley Piper, Josh Conway, Kris Gereg, Jason Hackathorne, Chris Morris, Logan Whitfield, Seth Surbaugh, Noah Gereg, Isaac Nicot, Dominic Simone and Nick Steffl.

A reception was held at the Grand Vue Park Banquet Hall, Moundsville.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. She received her undergraduate degree in education from Ohio University in 2004, and her graduate degree from Fischler School of Education, Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in 2010. She is employed as a teacher at Don Steed Elementary School in Raeford, N.C.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of John Marshall High School and attended West Liberty University and West Virginia Northern. He is serving in the U.S. Army as a specialist airborne paratrooper with Charlie Company 1st of the 504th, Ft. Bragg, N.C., in the Red Devils 82nd Division, and recently returned from Vicenza, Italy, upon completing a tour of duty in Afghanistan.

The couple plans a later wedding trip to Hawaii and will reside in Hope Mills, N.C.
