YORKVILLE-Victor and Linda Sterling of Upland Heights, Yorkville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 22. They recently renewed their wedding vows in front of their family at the Mount Pleasant Friends Church with Pastor Wayne Ickes officiating.
Victor is the son of the late Rev. Dessell and Kathleen Sterling, formerly of Mount Pleasant. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Beech Bottom Plant after 40 years of service and from RM Wilson of Wheeling after six years of service.
Linda is the daughter of the late Kelsey and June Harris, formerly of Yorkville. She was a stay at home wife and mother.

They have four children: Vickie (Keith) Tout of Bridgeport, W.Va.; Paula Kidner of St. Clairsville; Pamela (Timothy) Poch of Connerville; and Jeffrey (Lynette) Sterling of Yorkville.
They have eight grandchildren: Alicia (Erik) Olness of Bridgeport, W.Va.; Brittany (Christopher) Hardy of Dinwiddie, Va.; Timothy (Danielle) Rager of Dillonvale; Tayler (Johnathan) Thorman of St. Clairsville; Haleigh and Peyton Poch of Connerville; and Sierra and Isaiah Sterling of Yorkville.
They have four great-grandchildren: Nicholas Fiber of Bridgeport, W.Va.; Natalie Rager of Dillonvale; and Isabella and Matthew Hardy of Dinwiddie, Va.
The couple celebrated with a family dinner. They are planning a trip to Texas this winter.
