Times Leader

ST. CLAIRSVILLE - The St. Clairsville Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with ShaleDirectories.com and OOGA, will hold a one-day educational seminar to help area businesses prepare to do business with oil and gas drilling companies.

The seminar will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, march 28 in the banquet room at Undo's in St. Clairsville.

This is a great opportunity for chamber members and other area businesses to learn from individuals who have experienced the industry first-hand. A full day of seminar presenters will explain what it takes to be successful in this once-in-a-lifetime economic opportunity.

Based upon the experience of these individuals, the areas of focus will address how to market your business, finance and cash flow, workforce issues, understanding the requirements for the MSA and the need for elevated safety standards in your business along with other topics.

Seminar attendee prices are $150 for a chamber member and $200 for a non-member.

Early registration is being accepted through Feb. 29 at a reduced cost of $100 for a chamber member and $150 for a non-chamber member. Space is limited and is filling up fast.

If you are interested in attending the seminar, contact the chamber office at 740-695-8623 or info@stcchamber.com.

If you are interested in showcasing your business through sponsorship of this event, contact the chamber office.
