Invading Bishop Donahue rallied for five runs in the top of the fifth to overtake host Monroe Central, 6-3, Thursday afternoon at Woodsfield.
The Bishops' Riley Koontz accounted for two runs, drilling two doubles and a single. Austin Ghaphery unloaded a two-run homer. Kyle Gillis and Philip Smith contributed RBI base knocks.
Monroe's Eric Ward clubbed a solo home run. Jacob Black doubled and knocked in two teammates. Kordell Antill and Kole Hogue worked the hill for Monroe, teaming for nine Ks and one walk.
The now 1-3 Seminoles are idle until a Monday visit to Steubenville Central.
Cameron 7, Beallsville 2
At Cameron, the hosts used five unearned runs in defeating the Blue Devils (0-2).
John Dietrich singled in both runs for Beallsville. Ricky Tubaugh had two hits.
