Thank you, Shadyside.
Once again, the businesses and residents of Shadyside have shown their support of the American Legion's "Gift For Yanks" program.
This program was started by Eddie Cantor, and has been continued ever since. It has helped our men and women in Veteran's hospital and homes, as the program still does today.
All of the members of the American Legion Post 521 here in Shadyside wish to say "Thank You" for your generosity for our recent drive for this year's "Gift For Yanks" program.
Also, we would like to say "Thanks" to all the volunteers who helped make this drive a success once again.
