FRENO, Derek D., 28, of Shadyside, OH, and Bradenton, FL died Sunday, April 29, 2012 in Belmont County Community Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1984 in Wheeling, WV.
He was a laborer for AZZ Galvanizing Company in Benwood and worked at Freno's Bar.
He was a member of New Life Fellowship Church, Shadyside; the VFW Post 626, Bellaire; loved to fish and was an avid Miami Dolphin fan.
He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, William T. Dobbins, Sr.; a paternal grandfather, Donald Freno; and a stepbrother, Eric Trinkeller.
Survivors include his father, Don (Mitzie) Freno of Shadyside; his mother, Kelly Dobbins Freno, Anna Maria, FL; paternal grandmother, Joanne Freno of Shadyside; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Dobbins, Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Dustin Freno of Shadyside, and Dylan Dobbins of Anna Maria, FL; a stepbrother, Randy Ramsey of Shadyside; two stepsisters, Denise Ramsey of Bellaire, and Tammi Warner of Bellaire; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family will receive friends Thursday 1-3 and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 400 33rd St., Bellaire with Pastor Joel Traylor officiating.
Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
