HAUGHT, Mr. Dennis Ellsworth, 64, of Griffin, Ga., passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Fayette Piedmont Hospital.
Mr. Haught was born in Bellaire, OH to Ella Irene Taylor and the late Lester J. Haught. He was one of thirteen children. Mr. Haught graduated from Bellaire High School. After high school he joined the Air Force and served for 22 years retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. He received many awards and medals during his military career. After his service to our country, he received his master's degree in education and became the assistant professor of aviation maintenance at Clayton State University.
Mr. Haught is survived by his wife, Sandy Haught of Griffin; mother, Irene Taylor of Bellaire, OH; sister-in-law & brother-in law, Jackie and Lee Peake of Selma, AL; special niece, Regina Self of Prattville, AL; special nephew, Mike Stokes of Selma, AL.
There will be a private memorial service for Mr. Dennis Ellsworth Haught in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
