ADAMS, Robert, C., of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of St Clairsville, OH, died May 10, 2012 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He was born December 6, 1930 in Bellaire, OH to the late Robert C. and Pearl (Bass) Adams.
He was an avid reader, enjoyed the History channel and playing chess.
He preached for nearly 40 years for many Churches of Christ in the Ohio Valley. He served in the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. He was retired from National Cash Register where he worked as a mechanical designer.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores (Martin) Adams of Olathe, Kansas, sons, Robert J. of St Clairsville OH, David C. (Anne) of Gardner, Kansas, six grand children and four great- grandchildren, brother Don (Lois) of Cordova, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by Cremation Center of Kansas City where there will be a small service conducted by Richard Wolfe, preaching minister of the 151st Street Church of Christ, Olathe, Kansas.
A memorial service will be held May 31, 2012 where burial of his ashes will take place, with Military Honors in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.
