COLERAIN - An alleged armed robbery took place Friday afternoon at the PNC Bank in Colerain.
According to reports, a white male entered the PNC branch office shortly after 4 p.m. and demanded money.
He reportedly was wearing a red bandanna, a red hooded sweatshirt and black jogging pants.
In making his demands, the suspect brandished a weapon.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene with an accomplice and jumped into a van and left the scene.
According to authorities, the van was located a short distance up the road as the two suspects apparently abandoned the vehicle and continued their flight in a different vehicle.
