FRASNELLY, Betty Lou, 84, formerly of Powhatan Point, OH died Friday, June 8, 2012 at the East Ohio Regional Hospital's Long Term Care in Martins Ferry, OH.
She was born in St. Clairsville, OH, a daughter of the late Ernest and Hilda Reline Goff.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Barney Marling and her second husband, Edward Frasnelly; one brother, Ernest Goff and one brother-in-law, Nick Carder.
Surviving are her children, Linda Holden, Rae Ann Marling, Lisa Baker and Martin Edward (Colleen) Frasnelly; two sisters, Hilda (Charles) Sakas and Rita Carder; one brother, Robert (Lillian) Goff and a sister-in-law, Doris Goff. Also three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
To the current and former staff of the EORH Long Term Care who cared for our mother during the last five years, we have had good days and bad days. You laughed and cried with her and felt her pain. She depended on you and you became her family. For all those who have never thanked you or have forgotten to thank you, you have our deepest appreciation for the work you do.
Family and friends will be received for a memorial gathering at the Bauk necht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, OH on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of memorial services at 1:15 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Lawson.
Inurnment in the Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH at the convenience of the family.
