She was born June 6, 1948 in Martins Ferry, OH, daughter of the late Earl Jennings Long and Eunice Kathleen Piatt Long.
She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary No. 2792 and the Eagles Lodge No. 4252. Marcia loved the outdoors; especially boating and fishing. She enjoyed cooking and baking and had a zest for life.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry E. Hinkle; daughters, Suzie (Khaled) Awwad and Penny (John) Kurtz; sons, Brian (Tracy) Hinkle and Kevin Hinkle; grandchildren, Chantee Gray, Jeremy and Vance Phillips, Lindsay and Tyler Kurtz; Branson Hinkle, Zach and Sarah Awwad and Troy Hinkle; 13 great-grand children; and sisters, Janice McClelland and Diane (Bill) Mann.
Friends may visit, Friday from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, OH. Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating.
