MCKINNEY, John R. Sr., 77, of Palm Coast, FL., formerly of Kirkwood Heights, Bridgeport, OH, died Monday, June 11, 2012 at FL Hospital Memorial Center, Daytona Beach, FL.
He was born December 22, 1934 in Martins Ferry, OH, a son of the late George and Rosa Wallen McKinney.
He was a retired employee of Canalco Aluminum Co., and a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly Whitecotton McKinney; two sons, Eugene Mckinney, and John McKinney Jr.; also several brothers.
John is survived by a daughter, Jackie Burgess of Palm Coast; a sister, Georgia Hanna of Martins Ferry; four grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren.
There will be no services, and interment will be held at Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
