KANOSKI, Theodore R., “Theo” or “TR,”

KANOSKI, Theodore R., "Theo" or "TR," 55, of Adena, Ohio, formerly of Mount Pleasant, Ohio, passed Monday June 18, 2012 at Heartland Lansing.

He was born in Wheeling, W.Va., on October 9, 1956, a son of the late Theodore and Katherine E. Voydock Kanoski Sr.

Theo worked at several radio stations including WSTV AM, WOMP AM as a polka and swap shop announcer and KOOL105. He also was a former employee of Colerain IGA. TR was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Adena, and the Adena Lions Club. He enjoyed keeping track of the years of the songs, and amazed people by remembering their birthdays.

Theodore is survived by his companion, Nancy Dubil; three nieces: Beth and Natalie Sopko, Jessica Bruce, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, with Lions Club services at 7 p.m.

Friends will then gather Friday June 22, 2012, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Adena from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. when Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated with Msgr. John C. Kolesar as celebrant. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, Ohio.
