RANKIN, Bryan Keith, age 55, of 107 Main Street, Holloway died at his residence at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
Born May 6, 1957 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, he was a son of the late Stanley George Rankin and Freda Corinne Rankin
He graduated from Lakeland High School in 1977. He retired from the carpenter's union in Canton. He was a member of the Flushing American Legion. He enjoyed fishing at Holloway landing.
Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Rhonda Jene Myers Rankin. They were married June 16, 1984. Also surviving are two sons: Bryan (Kendra) Stanley Rankin of Flushing and Bradley Ray (Tracy) Rankin of Holloway; a daughter: Beth Ann (Jacob Thompson) Rankin of Wintersville; three sisters: Lynn (Robert) Sagel of Texas, Patricia Liljegren of Flushing, Victoria (Rudy) Puskarich of Tennessee; two brothers: Mike (Mary) Rankin of Freeport and Bob (Annette) Rankin of Freeport; and three grandchildren: Riley Jean Rankin, Jacob Thompson, Jr. and Levi Robert Rankin.
In addition to his parents, Bryan was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Sturtz, and four brothers: Stanley George Rankin, Maynard Oliver Rankin and two infant brothers.
Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 22 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 South High Street, Freeport. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23 in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio.
