DALPIAZ, Shirley Mae, 75, of Lafferty, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
She was born December 11, 1936 at Jerusalem, Ohio, a daughter of the late Amos and Lura Mae King Copeland.
Shirley was a retired cook at Park Health Center and attended the Flushing Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Patsy Copeland, Virginia Brown and Jessie Mann; and a brother, Bradley Copeland.
Surviving are a daughter, Emilia "Mickie" Fluharty and her husband Mark; two sons: Dennis Dalpiaz and his wife Bernice, and Matthew Dalpiaz, all of Lafferty; seven grandchildren: Shelli (Brent) Carpenter, Kayla (Keith) Grigaitis, Brandon (Kristen) Fluharty, Brady Fluharty, and Miranda, Dustin and Hayleigh Dalpiaz; four great-grandchildren: Alex, Nick, Brennen and Karson; several nieces and nephews; a special caregiver and friend, Sharon Donahue; and her beloved Jack Russell terrier, Jasper.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 W. Main St., St. Clairsville, where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dean Lancaster officiating. Burial follows in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lafferty.
