TWO BROTHERS who allegedly robbed the PNC Bank in Colerain in May were taken into custody Thursday following a standoff with Boardman Police.
Brock and Chad Rennicker were taken to the Mahoning County Jail pending felony charges. They were reportedly staying with a girfriend of one of the brothers.
A Boardman police spokesperson said the department got a tip from Belmont County that the men were hiding out in Boardman. After following up on some leads, police discovered where they were hiding and what they could do to safely take them into custody.
It was reported that the Rennicker brothers also face obsructing justice charges following the standoff.
They are awaiting extradition to Belmont County.
