BLATNIK, Gladys

BLATNIK, Gladys, 89 of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Lansing, died Sunday June 24, 2012 at Park Health Center St. Clairsville.

She was born July 3, 1922 in Blaine, a daughter of the late John and Gladys Bentkowski Wieleba.

Gladys formerly worked as deputy clerk for the Belmont County Clerk of Courts, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, and the CWC of the Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John L. Blatnik in 2004, two sisters, Jen Bohus, and Stella Potnick.

Gladys is survived by a son, Dr. Jay (Maureen) Blatnik of Powell, Ohio, a daughter, Johnette Pollock of St. Clairsville, a sister, Evelyn Cencula of Cincinnati, grandchildren, Jeff (Miranda), Travis, and Paul Pollock, Mara and Sara Blatnik, and one great-granddaughter, Ava Pollock.

Members of the family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Thursday June 27, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be recited on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha officiating.

Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Wake service will be recited at Thursday 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
