BARNHART, Betty Lee, 79, of Cadiz, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her home.
She was born March 4, 1933 in Lafferty, OH, a daughter of the late Charles Clifford and Ina Pearl Beal Sowers.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Donald W. Barnhart, in 2008; a son, Steven Barnhart in 2009; and her siblings, Evelyn Milliken, Donald Sowers, Charles Sowers, David Sowers, Ethel Sansom, and Sylvia Worwa.
She is survived by a son, Scott Barnhart and his wife, Kelsi of Tappan Lake; two daughters, Debbie Goodrich and husband, Justin of Cadiz, and Donna Dial and her husband, Jeff of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Audrey Barnhart of Cadiz; two brothers, Gary and Raymond Sowers, both of Cadiz; three sisters, Grace Cramer Mills of Flushing, Ohio, Mary Ellen Tuchek of Cadiz, and Ruth Toto of Adena; and her faithful dog, Missy.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, July 1 from 2-5 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ashley Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
