OSBORNE, Gene T., 82, of North Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 upon arrival at the Barnesville Hospital, Barnesville, Ohio.
He was born at Cambridge, Ohio on March 11, 1930, a son of the late William H. and Bertha Stetka Osborne.
Gene was a former employee of the Euclid Inc., Euclid, Ohio and was a former consultant for Barton Fish Inc., Wheelersburg, Ohio. He attended the Barnesville United Methodist Church, Barnesville, Ohio and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Gau Osborne whom he married on November 26, 1955; one daughter, Lisa (Gregory) Obrzut of Mason, Ohio; one son, William Eugene "Bill" (Loretta) Osborne of Leroy, Ohio; two brothers, James R. Osborne of Newport Richey, Florida, Larry Osborne of New Albany, Ohio; six grandchildren, Amanda Chiki, Britt Obrzut, Chelsea Obrzut, Jessica Osborne, Nick Osborne and Nicole Osborne, and two nephews and one niece.
Friends will be received at the Brubach-Watters Funeral Home, 202 Main St., Summerfield, Ohio from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Tom Detling officiating.
Burial will follow in the Eastern Cemetery, Summerfield, Ohio.
