NOWAK, Anna Theresa, 86, formerly of Bridgeport, Bellaire, and St. Clairsville, OH, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Barnesville Health Care Center.
She was born February 17, 1926 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Vincent Front and Konegunda Kobiela Front.
Anna was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wolfhurst, Catholic Women's Club, St. Francis Society, Third Order of St. Francis, and Life Member of the Bellaire D.A.V. Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted" Nowak in 1996; two sisters, Sister Mary Vincent, and Sister Mary Leonard; four brothers, Clement, Harry, Walter, and Edward Front.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory Michael (Denise) Nowak of Coshocton, OH and Daniel Leonard (Paula) Nowak of Barnesville, OH; four grandchildren, Jayson (Lori) Nowak of Dayton, David (Lisa) Nowak of Toledo, Matthew (Leah) Nowak of Akron, and Jessica (Jared) Barron of Perrysburg; two great grand children, Eli Joseph Nowak and Liliana Danielle Barron; two brothers, Joseph Front of Wheeling, and Casimir Front of Weirton; two sisters, Rita Krenzel of Mansfield, and Therea Azzi of Ashley, OH; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 10 until 11:45 a.m. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville.
Burial follows in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, WV.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville or The Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville.
