HELMS, Brent Anthony, 41, of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, died July 3, 2012.
He was born October 14, 1970 in Wheeling, WV, son of Harry P. and Germaine R. (Schleyer) Helms, of Shadyside, Ohio.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Shadyside, Ohio, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 626 and was an Eagle Scout Troop # 212. He enjoyed fishing, camping and all sports. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of 11 years.
He is survived by his parents, Harry and Germaine Helms, of Shadyside, Ohio; his brother, Jeffery (Michelle) Helms of Shadyside, Ohio; his nephew David Helms; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received Sunday July 8, 2012 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, OH 43947 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Monday July 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Reverend David Roberts officiating.
Belmont County Council of the American Legion will conduct services at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
