TRIGG, Shirley Mae, 76, of Shadyside, Ohio died Thursday July 5, 2012.
She was born March 6, 1936 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Thelma Steiner Jennings.
She was Methodist by faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. "Pete" Trigg in November 2007; a granddaughter, Kerri Jo Polivka; and a stepson, Richard Trigg.
She is survived by her four children, Frank Polivka of Shadyside, Dana (Dena) Polivka of Glenville, WV., Lisa (Franklin) Imer of Shadyside, and Shelly (Tom) Alderman of Moundsville, WV; a brother, Roger L. (Esther) Tipton of Bellaire; a sister, Karen S. Jennings of Bellaire; four grandchildren, Michael D. (Trina) Palmer Jr., Stephen Palenicek, Ally Alderman and Walker J. Polivka; three great- grandchildren; Gianna L. Palmer, Stefin and Mason Palenicek; two step - children, Sandy Tarbet and Duane Trigg; three step- grandchildren; Chris Oberle, Stephanie Antill, and Kim Trigg; three step- great-grandchildren, Savanna Perkins, Lexi Antill and Cole Truzin; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at Davis Cemetery Monday July 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Bishop Michael Tolliver officiating.
