CALHOUN, Katherine, Kovalski, 51, of Mount Pleasant, OH., passed Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Bellaire, OH on March 18, 1961, a daughter of the late Martin and Ann Skolosh Kovalski.
Katherine was a Lab Technician for Wheeling Hospital and a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Marty and Richard Kovalski.
Katherine is survived by two sons: Cody Calhoun, Kevin Calhoun; a daughter Kayla Calhoun; two sisters: Barbara Barsch and Rita (Joe) Ridener, all of Mount Pleasant; two brothers: James (Sandy) Kovalski of Mt. Pleasant and Mark (Kolleen) of Mentor, OH; her companion Charles Call and her beloved dog Pepper. Katherine was blessed with one grandson Landon Calhoun.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Wheeling Hospital, EORH and Medi Home Health Hospice and everyone who supported her throughout this journey.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale with Msgr. John C. Kolesar, as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pleasant Grove.
