DRISCOLL, Frieda, 85, of Shadyside, OH., died Thursday July 5, 2012.
She was born October 1, 1926 in Darmstadt, Germany, a daughter of the late Kellner Matthaus and Luise Sophie Marie (Schafer) Reder.
She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church, Bellaire, OH., and worked as a cashier for Kroger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Driscoll in August 1995; a daughter, Eldora Driscoll; a brother, Theo Reder; and two sisters, Leisel Cohen and Joann Henry.
She is survived by her four children, Margarete (Joseph) Simmons, of Shadyside, OH, William Driscoll of, Charleston, WV Judith (Joseph) Giove of Memphis, TN and Jackie (Pete) Bizzari of Shadyside, OH; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday July 12, 2012 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, OH from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass Tuesday, July 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shadyside, Ohio at 10 a.m. with Father Samuel Saprano as Celebrant.
Vigil service in the funeral home Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Interment in Powhatan Cemetery.
