AN EXPLOSION at a Tuscarawas County oil and gas well site has resulted in one death.
The blast occurred about 9:30 a.m. today, near Bolivar.
Firefighters said flames were shooting at least 50 feet into the air.
The fire was under control by 11 a.m., with units from Bolivar, Mineral City, Fairfield Township, Strasburg, New Philadelphia, Magnolia and Zoar among those to respond.
Moreover, hazardous materials crews were working to control the fuel spill.
