CHRIS?AND Tim Baker, left, and Steve Reeves and Tanya Bright, all from Barnesville, got an early start at Jamboree in the Hills. They’re expecting at least 10 more friends to join their “compound” later this week. Meanwhile, a pool on their campsite is keeping them cool until the Jason Aldean and Little Big Town concerts, and they’ll be “enjoying time with friends and family.” The banner is a memorial for Baker’s nephew, Dominic, a country music fan who died in a car accident at age 16. JITH Operations Manager Perry Jones said Jamboree officials are expecting at least as many concert-goers as last year. “We want to remind everyone to drink lots of water, and we’ll have crews delivering water again this year.” There will also be a mist and cooling tent again. He cautioned against open flames—no campfires or fireworks allowed. For additional photo view cu.timesleaderonline.com
