JOHNSON, E. Jane, 87, of Powhatan Point, OH., died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, OH.
Jane was born October 17, 1924 in Powhatan Point, OH., a daughter of Nathan Vanaman and Margaret Campbell Vanaman Bulger, now deceased.
She was retired from the purchasing departments of North American Coal Corporations 6 Mine, and a member of the United Methodist Church Powhatan Point, Ohio.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents was her stepfather, Charles Bulger; an infant grandson, Michael Johnson; and a brother, Nathan Vanaman.
Surviving are two sons, Richard L. Johnson and his wife Anna and Mark A. Johnson all of Powhatan Point, two grandchildren, Janelle Friedline and her husband, Michael of Waynesburg, PA and Alana Hendershot and her husband, Don of Powhatan Point, OH, two great grandchildren, Raegan Hendershot and Griffin Hendershot.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, OH, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Reverend Theresa Bobot officiating. Interment follows in Powhatan Cemetery Powhatan Point, Ohio.
