BETHESDA - Bethesda Police Chief Tim Zdanski passed away Thursday after entering the hospital earlier in the week in cardiac arrest.
Zdanski was in charge of the Bethesda Police Department the last 37 years. He was named the Belmont County Police Chief of the Year in 2006 and was instrumental in the creation of the S.P.I.I. Task Force, aimed at protecting children online by investigating and hunting down sexual predators.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
