MARLING, Russell "Russ" H., 75, of Shadyside, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Bellaire, OH.
He was born on July 29, 1936 in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late Albert (Russell) and Edith (Hixenbaugh) Marling.
In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert D. Marling, two brothers, William and Robert Marling, two sisters, Emma Lou and Beth Ann. He was retired from International Harvester in Springfield, OH.
Russ is survived by his wife, Beverly (Rataiczak) Marling, his son, William (Kim) Marling, all of Shadyside, as well as his three sisters, Georgene (Frank) Carpino of Shadyside, OH, Karen (Rich) Stack of Jacobsburg, OH and Pam (Kent) Moore, also of Jacobsburg, OH, and three brothers, Gerald (Sally) Marling of Bellaire, OH, Lynn (Marilyn) Marling of Shadyside, OH and Richard (Debbie) Marling of Barnesville, OH. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or burial services. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 29 in the reception room of the American Legion in Shadyside, OH.
